(Atlanta, Georgia October 17, 2011) – In the spirits of giving back and lending a helping hand to our bright future, Ty Johnston, has created The Atlanta Pitch Summit. The foundation of the summit is surrounded around a weekend event for all writers, producers, directors, actors and entertainment entrepreneurs to pitch their idea to television networks and film studios. The educational factor is to learn how to pitch while giving attendees the opportunity to do so. The summit will be held from November 3^rd through the 5^th – 2011 at the Georgia Tech Research Institute Conference Center (across from GPB).

 

The Atlanta Pitch Summit is the opportunity for those to “GET HEARD, GET ACCESS” to the film and entertainment industry.  The distribution process of selling a project can become stressful, time consuming and costly for the average person when trying to transition their script as a mainstream niche. Getting a meeting with those producers, agents and networks is sometimes unlikely; however the summit is bringing those powerhouses from LA to NYC to Atlanta aka “Black Hollywood” to enhance the attendees driven (more…)

On July 4th, 2011 a monumental event will take place, as Born Productions presents the ”We Ain’t Even on Yet” Concert at the historic Lenny’s Bar (486 Decatur St SE
Atlanta, GA 30312). Lenny’s is the iconic location that has brought you greats like B.O.B, Yelawolf and Janelle Monet. This venue has since changed names (The Venue) and it will be taken over by the Born Dreamers and their fans. The venue is also iconic with the fact that Born Dreamers Productions, Contact Atlanta, 3511 Media, and 4.0 Magazine all connected about a year ago at this same location. Take a look at the below footage of the Born Dreamers performing during our latest shows. Showtime is at 8 so be there early for a show that will be discussed for months and years to come.

The IdOMusic® Networking Events have become THE place for music-makers and music enthusiasts to meet and network and also for up & coming artists and bands wanting to promote, perform, and learn from seasoned veterans. The Independent Industry Night returned with a resounding explosion of talented artists that brought down the house. This night featured many of Atlanta’s rising stars performing in one of the city’s hottest venues, 595 North. We had Celebrity Barber Jaybee cutting in VIP and Lyle Moore (celebrity stylist) providing make overs for our female guest as well. Shouts out to the two of them as they flew to Atlanta directly from the Essence Festival to attend this great event.

Celebrity guest included Zaytoven, Vicky Dee (Gucci Mane’s mother), Smoke Graydee (DTP), TK and Cash (DTP)

Improv Comedy Group Snack Pack also kept our audience rolling on the floor with their antics. This event continues to grow and more relationships are being built with strong networking during the shows. Below you will find video and still photo footage that was captured on this night.
